Workshop Proposal

Request for Workshop Session Proposals

NAAAP cordially invites speakers / workshop organizers to submit proposals for one of our 19 planned sessions during the Convention. Please review our RFP for details (see attached file). Our deadline is Friday May 31st 2013 11:59am Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Thursday, August 8th 2013 Industry Day

Sessions on this day focus on building business and thus shall relate to business operations, financial oversight, marketing strategies, relationships (customer and supplier networks), employee cultivation (diversity inclusion and HR policies), management concepts, startup. Sample past topics are as follow.

  •  Demystifying IP for Tomorrow's Business Leaders (2012)
Friday, August 9th 2013 Leadership Essentials
Sessions on this day focus on building people and thus shall relate to leadership development, professional acumen, personal branding, enhancing characters. Sample past topics are as follow.
  •  Building Your Personal Wealth (2007)
  •  Leadership Beyond Business (2009)
  •  The Accidental Project Manager (2011)
  •  Positive Leadership Through Creativity and Innovation (2012)
Saturday, August 10th 2013 AAPI Core Values
Sessions on this day will focus on building capacity and thus relate to social concerns and research relevant to those of NAAAP and its community partners such as women leadership, parenting (generational gap, multiracial families, work-family balance), political issues, alleviating status gap and stereotypes, societal and economic positioning. Sample past topics are as follow.
